I read a story about a husband and wife who had a snake, and it slept with them, coiled up at the foot of the bed.
one night, the snake stretched out COMPLETELY as long as possible next to the wife, and her and her husband considered it an affectionant move. after this continued for 3 days, she called her vet, wondering why it was doing that.
the verdict? the snake was stretching out next to the wife to see if it was long enough to swallow her in her sleep. the snake was then put in a cage. :magic:

That sounds a little scary!!!!!! How did they find that out? I can just imagine a vet saying, "Madame, your pet snake Harold was stretching out to see if he could eat you. Please do not panic because he has not yet reached your height yet. He still has another 4 ft. 11 in. to go. Good thing you brought him in, this could have gotten real dangerous in the next few days!!!!" (This is just a joke. I am always trying to cheer people up, so hope it cheered everyone up!!!!

It was about the same size, but I forgot something, the other reason they brought it in: it was starving itself.

Always so hard to choose a favorite animal. I think it comes down between foxes and domestic cats. Foxes because I find them adorable - however, they aren't pets. Cats because they all have unique personalities and are adorable and I own six of them!
