This is my first time starting an RPG, even though i have particapated before... for joining!

Rules/How to Play

The rules are:
Be at least semi-nice and don't make stupid post (in other words be polite and dont post off subject)
No descriptions of ANYTHING nasty...

How to play:
This is a HORSE rpg... not any random animal When you first start say your

Name: anything appropriate
Gender: Male or Female
Age: Filly, Colt, Mare, or Stallion
Breed: (My favorite is Lipizzan, but be what ever you like )
Mating Status: Have mate, pregnant, single looking for mate, staying single, widow (awww)
Additional Info/Background Info: e.g. where you were born, what herd your in (optional)

Additional Info: Parents were lost when she was a young filly, so now is very strong. Likes to spend time near rivers, streams, and Lakes.

Rayne lies down bye the river and stares into the water at her reflection. It still burns in her mind the day the weird creature she's come to know as people grabbed her mother and father and threw them in a truck and drove away. She remembers how they stretched their necks toward her and neighed for her. How her mothers eyes looked when she started moving away in the truck. How she ran as fast as she could to catch up to them, while they all the time got further away. She had played it over and over in her head doing everything but not being able to save them. As she grew up in the dangerous forest she had learned how to be strong and how to survive. She was now almost in full maturity now and only had a little grey left from her foalhood. She was almost full white and needed a mate. Sadly, she had no herd and almost always felt so lonley. Now she could just wait for someone to come along...

the pair of them slowly troted into the field. Lifting up his nose Bane smelled the other horse here. He decided to go say hello in hope of making another friend. Turtle Dove wandered around then decided to go swimming in the lake near by. She slowy nickered to Bane "I'm goin' to play" and with a wicked glit in her eye she galloped off.
Shaking his head in dismay he kept walking toward the other horse.

Rayne slowly walked toward the new comers, slightly intimadated by the large size and dark color of the fresian, but calmed by the quiet little apaloosa

Bane Lifted his nose and neigh a greeting to her " Hey" he said " my name is Bane what is yours?"

Mean while Dove was frolicking in the water sceming a prank the whole time...

Rayne payed no attention to the Appaloosa and said to Bane "I'm Rayne, Who's that?" she said shaking her head in the appaloosa mare.

"Oh her...." he said shaking his head. i promised my mom i would watch out for her but she is just a magnet for trouble. he rolled his eyes.
"So.... How about you do you have a herd at all?"

'''Sadly, No. I would be a good leader, I've been taking care of my self ever since I was very little, so i could take care of a whole herd no prob' " she turned and looked toward the mountains way off in the distance. "One day I will travel those mountains. Me and my herd. We'll have our own little vally their. I will make it happen some day. Only thing I need is a nice group. Not too big not too small." she looked back at Bane. "Sorry, just mumbling to myself."

"Oh I don't mind, Nice idea though." He started walking toward Turtle Dove. "I think i had better go get her before she runs off" He troted of mumbling to himself

Rayne Watched as the first contact with a horse for a long long time ended. She thought about how she would be alone again afterward. She couldn't let that happen. She ran after Bane and said "Would you like to travel together? I hate being alone, and I have no one else to travel with since my parents were taken away when i was little. So what do you think?" she asked Bane.

Age: Stallion, but bairly old enough to be an adult
Breed: unknown mix of breeds, single
Additional Info/Background Info: Lost herd. Is travelling alone

Rayne smells more horses than just Bane and Turtle Dove. She wanted to find them. She told Bane and Turtle Dove she'd be right back. She walked over and came across a mix of many breeds. He was alone as much as she could tell. She said to him "Hello, my name is Rayne, Over their are Bane and Turtle dove" She turned her head to the large black fresian and the smaller brown appaloosa. "Whats your name?"

I forgot to mention that I was a deep chocolate brown.

Ace watched the horse warily. It was of a sort he had not seen before. He backed up slowly, unsure what to do.

"I promise not to hurt you. And dont be intimidated by Bane over their, he's a bit big, but he wouldn't hurt you unless you gave him a reason. And I know im not intimadating, being almost snow white, since im a mostly mature lippizan, as they call me." Rayne said in an attempt to calm the new brown horse.

Ace snuffled nervously. He held is ground, but made no move for a while. He had every right to be nervous of all the action. He had watched a viscious fight when he was very young involving his herd, a bear, and a few shotguns in the distance. He had fled and escaped narrowly and was now alone. Breathing heavily he took a cautious step towards Rayne and leaned his head in, looking her in the eye.

She stood their silently wating for him to check her out. She said "I was abandoned at a young age and have had no companions, I don't think i would kill one that just walked along. I can tell in your eyes you've had a hard life, as have I, so we could probaly get along well.

Ace leaned back and discovering no imminent threat, turned his attention toi the other two horses. After studying them a moment he turned back to the white horse and was startled to find her watching him. Awkwardly, he shifted his weight from one side to the other and murmured, "Hello. Would you mind if i tagged along?"

"I would love if you came along! Me, You, Bane, and Turtle Dove are almost like a very miniature herd! I don't know what we should do now though..." She looked around and gazed at the mountains as she did earlier and thought about life in them...

Ace was instantly relieved and he looked back towards Bane, curiously. "He is big isn't he?" he said. His eyes staryed to the Appaloosa, Turtle Dove. He asked nervously, "Are they? You know... related? or something else..." He trailed off and glanced at Rayne hopefully.

"Suprisingly, yes, they are brother and sister. He has to take care of Turtle Dove for his mom." she looked back at ace "what about you, have any siblings?"

Once he had got his silly sister Bane galloped back. As he got closer he saw another horse there. Slowing down a little he nieghed a greeting. Turtle Dove just rolled her eyes and sped up egar to meet the other horses

"No I haven't got siblings." Ace responded sadly. He stepped back a ways at the sight of the approaching horses.

Turtle Dove slowed to a halt right in front of Ace almost touching his nose. She batted her eyelashes." What brings a fine horse like you here, sir" she said daintly.

Bane shook his mane and asked "so.. Whats your name?"

"I-I'm Ace" he said, staggering backward. Taken aback by the females abruptedness, he could find nothing more to say.

Turtle Dove pranced around him " A little shy are we?" She flicked her tail and shook her mane " Well I'm Turtle Dove or Dove for short but you can call me what ever you want" She walked over to stand at his side and bumped him gently with her nose.


Bane snorted in disguste. " Don't mind her, I'm Bane"

Ace was immediately uncomfortable around Dove, so he decided to focus on Bane. He regretted it immediately, for he was even larger up close. He gulped and said, "I-I-I...umm...hello..." His lame response withered to nothing.

Dove just stood there staring at him

Bane saw that he was quiete nevous and said"oh don't mind me i wouldn't hurt a fly unless you got me angry" he smiled. "How about we go get some food, I'm starved"

Ace nodded, slightly more confident. He looked back at Dove and then trotted forward after Bane.

Dove Twitched her ears then yelled" Race Ya There!!" and dashed off at top speed.

Bane turned to look at Ace "After You" he said tossing his head

Ace grinned and getting his natural personality back, he took off after her.

Bane Dashed off running as fast as he could hoping to catch Turtle Dove but she already had a big lead...

Ace ran, wind in his face for the first time in a long while. He galloped after Dove, trying to catch her, but she was fast.

Rayne neighed a short laugh at the other horses and followed cloesly behind.

Dove bucked and pranced around once she got to the green grass say " Come ON slow-pokes!"
she puther head down and started munching away

Bane finally caught up to his sister, winninying he looked back waiting for Ace and Rayne to get here.

ACe followed close at Bane's heels. He reached the meadow and whinnied, rearing. Exhilerated from the moment of fun. He ate and grinned at Dove, in much better spirits than ever before. he felt like he belonged

Winking at Ace Turtle Dove continued munching away on the new green shoots

Rayne looked at Bane and smirked, they both had saw what was happening, when Dove and Ace were in the meadow. She said "We seem to make a good group..."

Ace was happy here as he had never been before. He grinned at Rayne and continued to eat the grass. Then he whipped his head up iin a panic. A mountain Lion crouched in the bushes just yards from where they stood.

Fearing for what she thought of as her herd, Rayne broke into a thundering gallop, but not away but towards the prowling mountain lion. She struck it a few times leaving her untouched. After a few more strikes, the fight started to take a tole on her, the lion started getting in a few hits. But, the lion was getting tired as well. Eventually, the lion was as worn out and decided their were easier meals in the forest that would run, not fight back. He ran into the forest defeatedly. Rayne walked slowly back to the group. She had a slash across her chest and a few cuts else where. "He's gone..." Was all she said when she got back.

Ace looked at Rayne worridly. He knew of the hurt a full grown mountain lion could inflict. "Are you al right?" he asked. "Maybe you should lie down a while."

"We have to keep going if we are ever going to make it to the mountains! We will just slow down..." Rayne said limping towards the forest "We can't travel in the daylight, thats when the mountain lions are out, but one thing we can do is travel by dark, so we will sleep in the day, travel at night, ok?" she said lying down for some sleep before the long night ahead.

{ooc-this is all the stuff that i missed so it is a little long}

Bane looked over a winked a Ranye, he knew Dove alright.

Walking a little farther away he started eating the greener grass. He head shot up as heard Rayne fighting with the Mountain lion. Galloping towards her, he was ready to squash the cat. He got there to slow though and went up to see if she was alright. He winced as he saw the big gashes.

Listening as she told everyone that what had to do. He felt a weird sensation hit him. He relized that it was love. Once she was done he walked over and lied down next to her.Nuzzling RAyne he asked "Are you alright? Those are some pretty big cuts."

Breed: Thoroughbred
Mating Status: Looking for mate
Additional Info: Pregnant, trained but pesky, nice, ran away from home.

April is freely galloping when she notices Rayne lying on the ground. She looks at her funny, then looks at Bane funny. April trots over to Rayne, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I think I am alright..." she said with a smile to Bane, completely missing the new comer. "I've had worse. They don't hurt as bad as they look." snuggling up to the large horse and falling to sleep peacefully.

Ace looked up at the arrival of April. Now he was confused. SHe had a larger than normal belly, and was moving a little awkwardly. Knowing little about horses, having been on his own so long, he walked up to her and said, "What is the matter? is something wrong with your stomach?"



stupid Ace!

"Uh, I am pregnant. Thats why my stomach is so big." April started to graze when she heard a bird squeel. She ran away spooked. She ended up in a large meadow. She was so confused and didn't know what on earth to do.

Pregnant? Ace thought to himself for a moment. "Ohhhhhh!" he cried. When April ran away, he followed for a few steps and then turned and trotted back to Dove.

April is confused and doesn't know where to go. She trots bsck to where everyone else is, "Who are you all? I don't even know where we are at?!"

Rayne slept nicely next to Bane not even noticing all the comotion going on over in the near distance. All she knew was that now was the first time in a long time she had felt... safe.
